We’ve been quite over the last few months while part of the team has been traveling and figuring things out for next year. We’ll be looking at doing some much smaller, informal events to test out some workshop ideas and screen some documentaries. But for now, a look at some events coming up as the year steadily draws to a close.
The Eco-Brick Exchange has been doing great work encouraging recycling in Walmer Township and recently had their first swop shop where eco-bricks were exchanged for clothing. Their next one will be on 8 December. You can see photos from the first swop shop on their facebook page.

You might already be wondering what you’d like to do for dinner and lunches around Christmas time. We suggest checking out the Organic Footprints website and ordering your ingredients through them, supporting local business as well as local and organic farmers. Here’s to a healthy festive season!
|We’re doing what we can to help Nelson Mandela Bay become a green metro, but if we are ever to achieve this, then we need your help. A handful of people simply wont be enough to stimulate the change we want to see at the necessary scale and pace that it needs to be. So if you have idea on how you’d like to help create a greener Madiba Bay, be sure to share them with us and be ready to get your hands dirty. Residents in Richmond Hill are doing their bit by transforming a neglected piece of land into public green space. What do you want to do in your neighbourhood?
Its time we did some tangible resilience building. Onward!
