Special Tour de France
Green architecture in France
Wednesday 6 June at the Alliance, at 12.00. Free entrance.
On the occasion of Green Week, join us in exploring various French cities which have created environmentally-friendly architecture.
Bold initiatives in the heart of the most beautiful cities in France that are sure to amaze you.
Thursday 7 June at the Alliance at 18.00. R10 for members, R20 for non-members.
Come and discover two documentaries about the protection of the planet: “Water, land and the peasant” (52 minutes) and “My trash is a treasure” (1:30).
You will discover the region of Bretagne and surprising European inventions to save our planet.
Due to the duration of these films we will have an interval.
Art and Design Exhibition
Launch on Saturday 9 June at the Alliance at 12:00. Free entrance.
The exhibition will be opened from the 4 to the 9 June.
Within the framework of Green Week, students from The School of Architecture at Nelson Mandela University among others present “Green Design” – an exhibition exploring environmentally friendly and substainable Design. The exhibition varies from Art, Interior Design, Architecture and further extends to Urban Design.
