WORKSHOPS – Intro To Organics and Effective Micro-Organisms 17+18 Nov

Thanks to your interest, we have the green light on our two workshops!
The first, Grow Organic Food, will take place on Thursday 17 November. The second, Effective Micro-Organisms, will be on the following day, Friday 18 November. Each workshop is R400 per person, or R700 if you’d like to attend both. The facilitator is Stephen Barrow who has been working in the field of organic food production and farm certification for many years. Intro To Organic Food Gardening workshop (17 Nov)
Why organic? Organic growing and permaculture design
Soil management
composting
water conservation
garden layout
container gardening
sowing and growing vegetables
companion planting
green manures
pest and disease control
brief intro to EM (effective mircro-organisms)

Effective Micro-Organisms workshop (18 Nov)
History and theory around EMs
Micro-organisms and humans (skin, environment, food)
Practical application
brewing EM
multi EM
Bokashi
Fermented plant extract
other liquid and solid EM derivatives

Time: Each workshop with run from 09h00 to 17h00
Venue: 28 Honeysuckle Ave, Sunridge Park, PE
Lunch: Bring and share;
(tea and coffee will be provided by the host)
Cost: R400 per workshop, or R700 for both
